Dear fellow guitar enthusiast.
Playing guitar has been apart of my life for more than fifteen years.It is probably one of the few hoppies that have persued for such a long time. I would not call myself a professional guitarist at all, but my guitar skills has certainly improved over the years and I enjoy plaing guitar now more than I have ever. It took my along time to reach the level of guitar playing I am on now. But I must be honest that it has been a painfull and frustrating learning curve most of the time, especially for my unfortunate family members who had to endure the entire proces of me learning how to create a sensible tune with the guitar.

It's almost the same as when your driving your car and you want to go to a certain place, but you do not know the way there. The obvious thing to do would be to ask for directions. There is certainly no point in just choosing any direction without knowing where it will lead.There is nothing more frustrating than to set out on a journey only to have to turn around later because you did not check as to wether you were traveling on the right road.
The same when learning to play the guitar. You have to make sure the things that you learn in the beginning are the right things.
